Manor Road Nursing Home

Having carried out several projects for this client Norris and Harding were asked to build an extension for an additional 10 new bedrooms over 2 floors and a commercial kitchen in the roof, install a six station ”Through Lift” to pick up the three new floors along with three floors on the existing building. In addition we have also carried out extensive structural alterations in the existing roof and form 5 additional bedrooms and renew a conservatory.

This was a particularly difficult operation due to the fact the access was restricted to a path to the side of no more than 900mm plus some co-operation from rear neighbours who allowed some materials to be delivered. Not forgetting that the Nursing Home had to continue to care for its residents the whole time.
